Personally I think there was love. And there still could be. It's hard after all what they done to each other and I also think that the writers are going to make Emily & Jack endgame and that there will never be a possibility for Daniel and Emily in the show .... BUT there was love and there could be. They are absolutely perfect for each other. I mean: They are both kind of broken in different ways. They both know how it felt to do things wrong and make them worse. They both have the silly way of thinking that two wrongs can make a right and they once chose their paths with this philosophy in mind. But deep in their hearts they are still the good persons they were meant to be and once were. I don't understand why the authors make the storyline so bad and why they are writing against there own characters. I don't understand why Emily and Jack have to be endgame just because he was always the "ONE" (just because in every other stupid show the first love always the best, why can't they try something new?). I don't think Jack is the right one for Emily. Don't misunderstand me. I love boys like Jack. So sweet, kind, honest, boring in a good way - perfect for me. But not for Emily. He was the right boy for the old Amanda. For the girl Emily was a long time ago. But she isn't this girl anymore. And neither is Jack the boy. He loved the old girl and he will always. I don't see a going back for Emily to this girl. And there is my problem with them: She can never make undone what she did and how it changed her. And he (if they stay with his character) should not be able to love the new women, the hard woman, the one who is able to kill people for her feeling of justice. I know in the last seasons they make Jack much more "angry" and willing to understand why she did it. But if he changes so much, Ladys and Gentleman, he is no longer the boy who Emily loved once. And that is the problem.
I am absolutely convinced that Emily and Daniel felt love for each other. Daniel truly loved her (sadly not enough to stand up against his parents). But if Emily would have fight a litle a bit more for him, maybe it would have been possible for him to win his own fight agains what he was and for what he wanted to be). Emily loved him also. Despite everything she planned and despite everything she already knew about him. She fell in love with him. And isn't it a much bigger thing to fall in love with someone against your own plans, feelings and actions - than falling in love with someone you loved a long time ago and never forget just because he was part of happy memories? I think if the circumstances would have been a little bit different (if the writer would have been just a little a bit braver) there would have exist a future for Daniel and Emily.
Call me crazy - but I am still convinced that there could be. I know they both have done terrible things (escpecially Daniel). But the shoot was just because he was so devastated about what Emily did to him. Lets be honest ... I could have done the same thing. And Emily is the last person who could not forgive him for doing such a thing. He took revenge on her for playing with his heart. And all the things he was doing after this, all the things he said: He was desperate. He felt guilty. He could no handle the situation. He want to take revenge for Emily for making a fool of him all the time. Most of it he didn't meant so. And Emily isn't the person who could judge somebody else for such actions. She did so much wrong herself. And I think if Daniel just start to realize his bad behaviour ... in buisiness, with other people in general etc. and if he will start to regret it ... there is a chance. Because if he then learns the truth about Emily he could forgive her and she could forgive him as well (with the premission that he will start changing himself befor he learns the truth or she do something else to him).
I WANT DAMILY ENDGAME.
